This Sunday @ The River

Sunday Morning Worship at The River

This Sunday:The Good Life: "Help, I'm Judgemental" Jesus said, "Don't Judge" But what exactly does he mean? When is judging wrong? When is it right? And, by the way, what do plank, specks, pearls, dogs and pigs have to do with it. Come Sunday morning as we reflect on Jesus famous imperative in Matthew 7.

Advance Notice--Church Picnic on June 17th Do you like burgers, chatting with other Riverites and having your kids faces painted? Of course you do. Join us for The River's annual Church Picnic on June 17th after church. More info to following in coming weeks.

We Need You!

Spring Project - Community Garage SalesThis spring, we're encouraging all Riverites to plan and host a garage sale in their neighbourhoods. If you live in an apartment, consider banding together with someone who does have a house. The idea is to gather some neighbours and friends and to donate the proceeds of your sale to a local charity of your choice. If you can't think of one, just ask and we'll provide you with a helpful list. Check out the SJN page at www.rivercommunity.ca for some tips on how to do this. Help the SJN meet our goal to raise $10,000 this spring for local community projects!
